Use Refill Earth With Your Class

Set up a classroom group, invite students, choose from the existing question library, and turn each round into shared progress your class can compare over time.

A student and park ranger examine a small aquatic animal beside a lake.

Create a Classroom Group

Sign in with a verified account, open Groups, and create an invite-only group for your class. Give it a clear name, then use its private invitation controls to manage who joins.

A teacher and students inspect stream organisms collected in a field net.

Invite Students

Share the group’s rotatable invitation code or link with students. Students can play the quiz anonymously, then use a verified account when they are ready to join the group and save progress to it.

Choose a Grade and Category

Use the existing question library to match a round to your class. Select a grade band and category such as water science, climate, oceans, conservation, or AI and data-center water.

Students gather around a classroom computer while two students use the keyboard and mouse.

Play and Fill Cups

Every correct answer adds ten drops. Five correct answers fill a cup, and signed-in totals contribute to the active group selected by each player.

Compete With Groups Worldwide

Compare group name, rank, drops, and cups on the public group leaderboard. Classroom groups can compete with clubs, families, schools, and communities without exposing invitation codes, emails, or member lists.

Track Class Progress

Return to the group page to see aggregate totals, responses, accuracy, and category patterns. Use those class-level patterns to choose the next grade band or category for another round.
